The Radical Possibility of the Women’s March

On Saturday, a constellation of woman-centered, anti-Trump protest lit up across all seven continents. (A group on an expedition ship in Antarctica adopted the unofficial slogan “Penguins for Peace.”) At the center of the action was the Women’s March on Washington, which drew an estimated half a million participants. There were men and women of all origins and orientations, a teeming parade of pink hats and protest signs that brightened against a pale silver fog blanketing the sky. There were sensible moms and crust punks, bros in Patagonia and toddlers on shoulders. A group of Gen Xers from Pittsburgh kept yelling, “Go Steelers!” A great-grandmother leaned on a walker, ambling gamely down the National Mall with clouds of cotton in her ears. Gender Equality – One Harsh Reality, Unacceptable By Masses

As a woman I can tell it's not always an easy job to be a female. At every step of life you are taught how harsh and cruel the world is, and how the world is your judge in any phase of life, when you are a child you are taught to act like a lady and behave well in front of others, when you grow up to be a teenager you are constantly reminded of how you were when you were a child and sometimes it's really disgracing, and when after all the struggle you manage to grow up and become a lady. Oh well, that's the time when you are told to act your age and not to be childish, my question is, in the whole process of growing up, where was being yourself? What was that one point which was in favour of me? In the whole process of being what others want you to be, you start losing your inner integrity...

Have Faith In Life, But No Expectations

Human life revolves around the beliefs and hopes. Beliefs guide the present while the hopes keep us cheerful for the future. People get the worries when their expectations are not satisfied. It is better to live the natural way without expectations. Accept and learn to live whatever comes in the course of time. Simply drift like a wooden log with the tides, but don't get drowned in the ocean of life. Expectations arise from the basic wish for welfare and progress. They are several and wide-ranging, and keep changing over time as the man passes through different stages and situations of life. However, their fulfilment depends on the personal abilities, aptitudes, age, education, experience, and circumstances. Caring parents expect their children to do better than them. However, such expec...

Every Problem Is An Opportunity

Our problems are endless. We face problems from the day we begin to breathe. Even the most basic aspects of life begins as a problem. However, it is our instincts see each of these problems as challenges and approach them relentlessly as opportunities to grow. This wonderful attitude and behavior pattern surprisingly fades as we grow older. The key now is how we approach these problems in life. Some hurdles in life may be small and some very tough, but nevertheless, we use our internal positive will and energy to survive them. We can move further to solve many problems in our lives and accomplish many extraordinary things by seeing every problem as an opportunity and making each moment as the best thing that ever happened to us. The more difficult the problem is, the greater the challenge...

Help Stop Racial Profiling and Move America Forward Together

There are very many cases of racial profiling in this current era. However, not every individual is precise on the meaning of this highly sensitive term. Racial Profiling is the consideration of an individual's race when profiling any suspected criminal. In the United States of America, there are very many cases where people are grouped according to their country origins basing on neighborhoods too. As such, if there is a case of theft, people may have experienced some sort of criminal offense in their locality thereby causing the police to look in the given area where the people of similar origin live in. As Americans, we all need to help stop racial profiling and move America forward together. There are very many cases that have been happening recently which has led to some sort of divi...

Rival Protest Groups Clash Outside Anti-Defamation League

Protesters from Black Lives Matter and White Lives Matter trade shouts and angry rhetoric during protest, Police stand between both groups.HOUSTON, TX -- Members of the White Lives Matter movement protested outside the Anti-Defamation League on Saturday, and were met by counter-protests from Black Lives Matter. "They labeled us a hate group, they didn't label the Black Lives Matter a hate group,” White Lives Matter member Scott lacy told KHOU-11. “That's why we are here today, to protest the Anti-Defamation League." The White Lives Matter movement claims the Anti-Defamation League has failed to label Black Lives Matter a hate group despite what they call the support and promotion of violence against white people. Police stood between both groups to keep the peace, which were also separa...

Why Black Lives Matter

July has been a tough month for America. The deaths of both Alton Sterling and Philando Castile at the hands of police have increased racial tensions once again. Protests, largely in affiliation with the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, have popped up in vast numbers across the nation. While most of the protests have remained peaceful, things took a violent turn in Dallas when a sniper opened fire on police officers, killing five and injuring seven. Many opponents of BLM have pointed to the group as the cause of the officers' deaths. But from the start, BLM has been a non-violent movement. In fact, it's an intellectually fueled movement focused on justice and equality. The movement officially began back in 2013 after George Zimmerman was acquitted in the death of unarmed black teenager ...

Alleged secret boycott falls on death ears

As we reported July 12, 2016 about the alleged secret boycott called for over the rise of shootings by law enforcement, unfortunately did not have much of an impact, but what would you expect to happen with the project being secret. As a matter of fact this alleged boycott was so secret that we can't seem to find a single person that actually participated or maybe that's a secret to. Calls made to Target Stores and Coca Cola Bottling Products the target of the boycott were meet with chuckles when asked about the alleged boycott and answered with "Boycott! What Boycott? We Know Of No Such Boycott Against Our Company". When asked about any decline in revenue between July 8th and August 9th, The answer was "No Were Having A Great Summer". We also spoke to representatives of some well know Bla...

Black Lives Matter Labeled A Terrorist Organization

Black Lives Matter Isn't A Terrorist Organization In America - Says Its Founders It's the opinion of Lance Winslow that It Is. Read what he has to say about Black Lives Matter. The other day, as an investigative reporter and think tank founder, I contacted some of the leadership of Black Lives Matter after I'd been involved in the petition to get BLM (Black Lives Matter) designated as a terrorist group - merely because their activities do fit the actual definition of terrorism; threatening violence to force political change. The leadership vehemently denied such allegations and refuted the Oxford Dictionary - claiming "white bias" which is silly, although perhaps it was a white man who had founded the Oxford Dictionary Team long ago. The Founder of BLM got on CNN and stated he ...

We Create Our Problems and Our Solutions in Our World

Everyday, we are bombarded with news reports on terrorism, murder, rape, earthquake, accidents, failed marriages, joblessness, business failures, lack of finances, militancy, dead, etc. To most of us, government at various levels should be blamed for creating these problems, or what I love to call challenges. But, who is government? Truth is, government is you and I, whether military or civilian. We voted our civilian leaders into power. For the military leaders, they may have come into power through the barrel of the guns, or by any other means. Therefore, our leaders are supposed to be representing our interests, above their selfish, self-centered interests. In theory, this is fantastic. But in reality, records at the public domain shows that it is not always so. You may agree or dis...
