Who Knew The Ontario Hunk Ryan Gosling Would One Day Grow Up To Be A Meme

Who knew the Nickelodeon cutie who showed up in Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Goosebumps when he was 15 would one day grow up to be a meme, and yes, an Oscar nominee, too. Of course, Mr. Man is referring to the Ontario hottie Ryan Gosling.

To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full‐on existential crisis. Or you’re a Ken.

After popping up in various Canadian kids’ show, he nabbed his first regular gig at the age of 17, playing Sean Hanlon in the TV series Breaker High from 1997-1998, followed by one as Hercules in Young Hercules from 1989-1999.

Switching his focus to the big screen, his first Hollywood flick was Remember the Titans (2000), followed by the lead role of Danny Balint in The Believer (2001).

Three years later, his star shot into the stratosphere when he played Noah in The Notebook (2004), stealing hearts along the way. Proving he was more than just a pretty face who looked good in the rain, he earned himself an Oscar nomination for his role as Dan Dunne in the movie Half Nelson (2006).

Ryan isn’t known for doing a lot of nudity, but when he does, he makes it count. In Blue Valentine (2010) Ryan crawls into the shower with Michelle Williams and shows off his buff body and great ass in a wet, hot scene. During Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011) he plays the nudity for laughs as he strips down in the locker room with funnyman Steve Carell. And no, those abs are not photoshopped.

They do, however, feature prominently in the opening credits for the film The Place Beyond the Pines (2013). He was clothed but sexy while singing and dancing in La La Land (2016), and earned himself another Oscar nom doing it. All that’s left for Mr. Man to say is, Hey, girl.
