Energy/Protein Bars Might Be Junk Food In Reality.
They are being sold everywhere… energy/protein bars claiming to be good for you and good for burning fat and adding muscle… On closer inspection, however, looking at the food label, you will find a long list of dangerous ingredients.
There are a lot of different kinds of these bars available these days… it’s not always easy to figure out whether one of these nutrition bars is good for you or if it is unhealthy.
If you want to find the right bar for you… you absolutely must start looking at the food labels.
In my honest opinion, the majority of bars being sold today are garbage… they’re candy falsely claiming to be healthy.
Weight loss bars are just as bad. They’re often full of corn syrup and other harmful substances… You should stay away from them. Believe it or not, they usually do not even taste good…
The big question is: How can you tell the difference between a bar that is really healthy for you and one that is just bad for you?
The answer is: Most of the time, the healthiest bars have a simple list of ingredients and are full of healthy things like fruit, nuts, and seeds.
The best in my opinion are:
Larabars! Oftentimes, these bars only have a couple of ingredients – usually nuts and fruit – but there are many types available.
As opposed to the bars I wrote about earlier in this article, these taste really good and are not full of dangerous ingredients. You can find them at most health food stores…
If you ever take the time to go out and buy some of these, they make for a great snack when you are busy.
