The Gorgeous Khaneshia ‘KJ’ Smith Is Definitely Someone You Should Keep An Eye On

Born in Tallahassee, Florida, KJ studied Business Marketing at Florida State University. But instead of going into the business world, KJ knew that she was meant for the big screen. KJ later moved to Los Angeles and began her acting career, mostly appearing on comedy shows. Some of her more notable credits include one-off appearances on Conan (2012), All My Children (2011), The Therapist (2013), and The Real Husbands of Hollywood (2013). Her most skinsational role of all came in the 2014 premiere of the Starz! series Survivor's Remorse. Khaneshia appeared as "Kiara" and bared her apple-sized, squeezable beauties while sitting topless on the bed chatting with Mike Epps. Now that's one hell of a nude debut! Let's hope this is just the beginning of a glorious trend for this buxom babe. Want...

Even If It Happened To Someone Who Is White – People Are More Likely To React To A Black Person’s Story Of Injustice

People appear more willing to boycott a retailer in response to a video message about a consumer’s experience of injustice while shopping when the narrator is Black, even when the source of the actual information is from a white person, according to research I conducted with several colleagues that’s currently under peer review. We wanted to observe whether and how the race of the person telling a story of racial injustice affects the reaction of their audience. So we conducted three studies that manipulated details about the race of the storyteller and victim to isolate the role the storyteller’s race plays. In the first study, we recruited 370 white male participants using a crowdsourced academic research panel. We asked them to watch a video in which a professional male actor portrayi...

Do Relationships Allow Someone To Come Into Contact With Their Unconscious Mind?

Human beings have both a conscious and an unconscious mind; however, the latter is largely overlooked. Not only does mainstream society ignore this mind but a lot of people in the helping professions, those who are doing what they can to help peoples "mental health", also do the same thing. Although this is not much of a surprise when it comes to society, considering how extroverted it generally is and self-awareness is not encouraged, it could be seen as being a surprise when so many experts are the same. At the same time, a society that very much lives on the surface is naturally going to produce both therapies that lack depth and people that are happy to practice them. Two Parts When it comes to someone's unconscious mind, this part of them will contain their "negative" feelings a...

In the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, what should you say to someone who refuses to wear a mask? A philosopher weighs in

Multiple studies have shown that masks reduce the transmission of virus-loaded droplets from people with COVID-19. However, according to a Gallup poll, almost a third of Americans say they rarely or never wear a mask in public. This raises a question: Can the anti-maskers be persuaded to wear masks? To some, it might appear that such a question has no ethical dimension. Wearing masks saves lives, so everyone should do it. Some even believe anti-maskers are simply selfish. But as a philosopher who studies ethics and persuasion, I argue that things are more complicated than that. Kant on love and respect To start, consider one of the most influential ethical frameworks in Western thought: that of the German philosopher Immanuel Kant. According to Kant, morality is ultimately about respec...

Love in the time of the coronavirus: Do you turn your back when someone offers you a hand, a kiss or a hug?

The toll of the coronavirus grows, with California under a state of emergency, and more than 150 cases and 11 deaths reported in the U.S.. Also, more than 300 million school children worldwide are facing closures of their schools. What does this mean for you in your personal life? We asked Brian Labus, professor of public health at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, about what kinds of physical contact are safe while COVID-19 is spreading. We are exposed to numerous viruses from our day-to-day interactions with other people all the time. However, our risk of being infected by a simple greeting usually isn’t in the forefront of our minds. The spread of COVID-19 has changed that. Conferences have banned handshakes, churches have changed their worship services, and even politicians have ch...

How to help someone with depression

16.2 million adults have at least one major depressive episode in a given year. Healthline.com in June 2018 reported that persistent depressive disorder often results in deep sadness, hopelessness, low energy and indecision, and it occurs in approximately 1.5 percent of adults annually. And while more women than men suffer from at least mild depression, healthline.com estimates 16.2 million adults have at least one major depressive episode in a given year. Other forms of depression, such as seasonal and postpartum, are prevalent as well, but many people suffer from low moods particularly during the holidays, from Thanksgiving through New Year’s. Often, family members, co-workers and friends have no idea how to help someone in a depressive state. For these people, Dr. K. Luan Phan...

High school Students Arrested for Allegedly Employing Someone from the Dark Web to Hack Their School WIFI

Two 14 year old freshmen from Secaucus N.J. high school were recently arrested after being accused of hacking their school’s WIFI system. The two boys allegedly knocked down their school’s WIFI system so as to avoid taking a test. With the WIFI down, the teachers were not able to teach any lessons or give any tests that depended on the use of the internet. One of the students from the school, Athana Siachandris, admitted that she knew the two boys. According to her statement, she saw the two boys and even asked them about the hack. “They thought it was funny because they didn’t want to go to school,” Siachandris said. “I couldn’t access the internet. I couldn’t really do any work. My teachers were annoyed. We couldn’t take tests, couldn’t take notes,” she added. The school’s Sup...

He was suspected of outing drug dealers on Facebook. Someone came for him during a livestream

Prentis Robinson rarely went a day without using Facebook Live - his go-to way of broadcasting his music and his musings. He was on Facebook Live Monday, recording himself with a selfie stick, wearing the straw cowboy hat he often wore in videos. He talked about how his phone was stolen as he walked around his town of Wingate, North Carolina, 30 miles southeast of Charlotte. He stopped by the Wingate Police Department to check in with Chief Donnie Gay. “Bring his phone back so he can get on with his way today,” Gay told Robinson’s camera, according to video, part of which was posted by The Charlotte Observer. Robinson left and kept walking. Moments later, the camera captured and broadcast Robinson’s death. It happened about five and a half minutes into the video, when Robinson was app...
