With her black curly hair, big brown eyes and Filipino heritage, it’s no surprise that African-American actress Sharon Leal is a literal dream girl.
In fact, the exotic ingénue received nominations for an Asian Excellence Award, Broadcast Film Critics Association Award and Screen Actors Guild Award for her breakout performance in the musical Dreamgirls (2006). But before she sizzled on the big screen, the hardworking hottie steamed up the small screen. Sharon landed main parts on the UPN Western Legacy (1998-1999); the long-running CBS soap Guiding Light (1996-1999); The CW cheerleading dramedy Hellcats (2010-2011); and the Fox drama Boston Public (2000-2004).
On the latter, her character Marilyn Sudor won a student website poll of the teacher male students most wanted to sleep with! Perhaps the pollsters got a gander at the pretty performer touting her bountiful bra-clad cleavage in Private Practice (2009). Sharon’s other ravishing recurring roles include Tyler “Zuri” Ellis on Grimm (2014-2016); Miss Martian on Supergirl (2016-2020); and Breeze Browne on The Good Doctor (2018–2019).
The boob tube babe also headed up Recovery Road (2016) and Instinct (2018-2019), in addition to flashing her flesh in films. She thrilled fans with her bra-clad mams in the thriller Motives 2 (2007) and wowed them with her bikini bod in Why Did I Get Married Too? (2010).
